What Is Required For Walkways?

Walkway installation starts with layout, walking the route and marking it so you can see the path and width before we build. Standard front walks run four feet wide so two people can walk side by side, though garden paths can be narrower. We need utilities marked before excavation and access for base material. Drainage matters, since a walk that traps water becomes an ice sheet in January, so we build in pitch. Walkway cost depends on length, width, material and how much excavation the grade requires.
